Food for all Co-op

Food for All is a food co-op. This means that it is run by its members for its members. Food For All is a not-for-profit organisation run by a team of local volunteers and staff.

What can I buy?

  • Local fruit and vegetables produced using organic methods at
    Greens community gardens
  • Local BS13 honey
  • Local, free range eggs
  • Local Somerset meat and cheese
  • Wholefoods, including rice, beans and lentils
  • Fairtrade juices, tea, coffee & drinking chocolate
  • Organic and Fairtrade chocolate and healthier snacks
  • Environmentally-friendly toiletries and cleaning products
  • Good quality fresh lunches.
  • Sandwiches on sale everyday

At Food For All, we believe in stocking food from local suppliers. We want to support local businesses. We also want to cut down on harm to the environment through ‘food miles’. We believe that local food is more likely to be fresh and healthy. So, we get fruit and veg, milk, meat and dairy from local suppliers and wholefoods from a Bristol trading co-operative. You can read a bit more about some of our suppliers here.

The Food For All shop has a area in the back office named The Comfort Zone. Feel free to pop in any time during shop opening hours to lend books and kitchen equipment, take free leaflets and recipes home.
There is also a seating area for you to relax and free coffee!

Volunteering opportunities

Food For All cannot run without volunteers. So we welcome anyone who would like to help keep it alive. It only takes a few people to help out for a couple of hours each week and the shop can continue to run at its best. Just contact us for more details or go to the Volunteer page.
